Management wanted regular reports on how each touring artist's merch was performing. Producing them meant logging into the reporting platform, working out which artists were currently on tour, looking up each tour's start date, setting the date range per artist, exporting a PDF one artist at a time, and emailing each to the right people. A fixed 'past 7 days' view also hid how a tour was trending overall.
Designed a reporting workflow that detects which artists are actively touring, chooses the right tour-to-date window, routes reports to the right recipients, and produces consistent branded summaries without rebuilding each report by hand.
